Dr Prashant Vaijyanath is a Cardiothoracic Surgeon. He has 33 years of experience and has worked as an expert in different cities in India. He was previously associated with AIIMS, Dr K M Cherian Heart Foundation, Chennai, Asian Heart Institute, Mumbai and Al Bassel Heart Institute, Damascus, Syria.

Doctor Prashant performed his first transcatheter-transapical AVR in India on 24 April 2010. He has successfully performed more than 7,000 open heart surgeries.

He is also an active member of the Association of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons of India, the Paediatric Cardiac Society of India, and the International Society of Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery.

Dr Prashant has completed his fellowships in many foreign countries with a good track record.
