Dr. Sangita Sharma Mehta M.D.,
She has served on the faculty at the Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, Karnataka and and was deputed by the Institute to the University of West Indies where she was the Consultant with the Rand Laboratory at the Princess Margaret Hospital, Nassau, Bahamas. She has also served as faculty at the Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre. Before joining KMCH in the year 2004. She is also an associate professor with Tamilnadu Dr MGR University.

Special Areas of Interest
- Her special areas of interest are histopathology , Immuno-histochemistry in addition to Dermatopathology with immunofluorescence. She also carries a vast experience in cytology, hematopathology and in performing medical and medico legal autopsies.
- Dr. Mehta graduated from the prestigious Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) and subsequently also completed her M.D from the same institute.
